It's a simple bait-and-switch tactic to keep casual fans on their toes, so those in the latter camp shouldn't worry that Mark will become a bad guy.Įlsewhere, we see Invincible and the revived Immortal fight one another, snippets of Mark looking shocked or plagued by visions of the forthcoming Viltrumite threat, and plenty of returning faces from season 1. Voice clips from Debbie Grayson and Cecil Stedman, in particular, tease as much, but long-time Invincible fans know this isn't the case. On initial viewing, the teaser appears to suggest Mark Grayson (aka Invincible) has turned to the dark side. There's not much to glean from its footage – hey, Amazon has to preserve its biggest spoilers – but there's enough to speculate on what might happen.
